Dear Pfaffenberg team, thank you for the wonderful dinner, although we had special requests. As always, a treat for the eye and a treat for the palate!

I organized a motorhome dinner for my daughter's wedding on January 21st. Contact was very good and friendly, everything that was discussed was 100% fulfilled. Thanks to the team. Personally, I can only say about the food that the bridal couple tasted it very much and the service was perfect. Many Thanks.

Collected our goose for Christmas lunch €100 incl. A bottle of wine . Staff were friendly, food was very good and plenty of it - it was given to us in a Styrofoam box to keep it hot and was hot enough to eat 20 minutes later when we got home. We ordered it to support local restaurants in corona times - but it made our day so relaxing and was excellent for the price that we will probably make a tradition now. Thank you Pfaffenberg and your entire team The goose was tender, the red cabbage was nicely spiced with cinnamon, the kloße seemed to be homemade , there was plenty of sauce 4 stuffed Apple's and some goose fat . We were more than happy

We picked up the food the day before because of Corona. That was really awesome in the positive. Very, very friendly welcome and the chef of the kitchen brought out the food himself. Super friendly and he gave tips for the preparation. Because: Everything was freshly prepared and vacuum packed. Then at home in the pots and the goose leg in the oven. Everything was super fresh, super tasty and of really high quality. There is really nothing to complain about about the price. If you want to find something: For our taste, more salt could have been added to the starter soups. But that's really a matter of taste. We'll definitely go back to eat there as long as we can't eat there. Many thanks to the cook and the nice team!

We were there with a wedding party. Very nice place and food was very good.

Great hike through the mossy forest. When we arrived at the restaurant, we had a breathtaking view. We enjoyed excellent delicacies in the restaurant itself. Thanks again to the very friendly service. Back we went back strengthened over hill and dale through the fairytale Hansel and Gretel forest. A wonderful nature which we could enjoy. Again, a big thank you to our guide.

We celebrated our wedding in a small group in the "Pfaffenberg". Upstairs in the restaurant we had a room to ourselves and could eat together at a long table. We had decided to choose a menu with Mediterranean starters at the table in advance. Everything was a success - delicious dishes, very attentive and friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. A chic restaurant with great attention to detail - the table was also very pretty and festively set. Our wishes were met excellently when the contract was drawn up. Unfortunately, we had to postpone our wedding due to Corona from May to October and we were met with absolute flexibility in this regard. We had a wonderful day and our guests also felt very comfortable!

You will be served by a very friendly and animal-loving staff. The waffles and drinks were also very good. Gladly again! :-)

Simple dishes, cleverly prepared and served in a friendly manner. Plus this great view of the Bergisch ... we'll be back!

All dishes are lovingly arranged and always served warm. The professionalism of the staff is truly impressive and the location is extremely easy to get to! The convenient transport links make it easy to take a jaunt there, which I found particularly likeable.

If you sit outside, you can enjoy a good view. The food is good, price / performance okay. Service a bit chaotic.

Good restaurant with a great view and good service. But food was not at the highest level. I was there with a foreign guest because it is the best restaurant in Solingen.

Nice location and stylishly decorated. Friendly service and short waiting times. Good, not overloaded menu with good labeling of vegan and vegetarian dishes. Food very good quality and taste. Serving sizes of the main dishes rather clear. The price level for the main courses is therefore unfortunately too high.

Full 5 stars, we are there regularly because the food and the ambience is just incredible. If you don't go home happy here, you've done something wrong or simply have no idea what good food is. In our opinion, the prices are more than justified because those who demand quality also have to pay for it. As I said, we always like to come back

Great service, excellent food! The view is beautiful. Mr. Braun gave us the best advice regarding our wedding. I highly recommend it.

Great food quality

First visit for all you can eat baby back (pork) ribs. They were very good, tender, served with BBQ sauce, but not grilled with sauce as you typically would get in the US. Excellent service in a very comfortable, classic kind of ambience...and the beer, superb. Highly recommended for the carnivores in your group.

Good place to hangout with friends. Pleasant view in summer, it’s really nice to sit in the garden with a view of The Valley and eating garden fresh vegetarian/vegan foods.

Excellent dinner location

The way is worthwhile not only because of the great view. A chic, yet very cozy bistro with a varied menu. The kitchen makes very delicious dishes at the same time orderly portion size at fair prices! The service is competent, friendly and very attentive! Really worth a visit. Here I was not for the last time.

We sat in the Bistro, the patio in the back of the building overlooking the restaurant's garden and lush, green hills of the surrounding locale: a gorgeous setting. The servers were pleasant and well-intentioned, but not completely knowledgeable about the menu. They knew enough to confer with the chef when unsure of menu ingredients. All the dishes we chose were absolutely delicious: we enjoyed Calves Liver, Entrecôte, and Sea bass (all perfectly cooked to temperature) for main courses, and chocolate mousse cake (flourless), strawberry sundae, and French apple tarte for dessert. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, and would gladly dine here again.

Delicious cakes, nice meals. There is the main restaurnat and a bisto. You can sit indoors or outside on the terrace. Just a few options but very nice clean quality food. Good tea and wine selection. The view is fantastic. Not cheap, but definitely worth the experience!

The Pfaffenberg restaurant / bistro is just outside Solingen. From the terrace you have a wonderful view of the valley, the ambience is modern. The dishes are first-class and tastefully matched. The service is friendly, individual requests are taken into account. We have been to Pfaffenberg several times and have only had good experiences so far.
